Basic Info

Tinted U profile glass is colored glass which reduces both visual and radiant transmittances.
Tinted glass almost always requires heat treatment to reduce potential thermal stress and breakage and tends to re-radiate the absorbed heat.
Our tinted U profile glass products come in a range of colors and are sorted by light transmission. It is recommended that you order actual glass samples for true color representation.

Colored ceramic frits are fired at 650 degrees Celsius onto the back, inside face of the U profile glass providing a colorfast, durable, scratch-resistant finish. Available in a wide range of colors including an exceptionally durable colorful look.

Frosted U profile glassFrosted U profile glass gives out more light-diffusing, frosted aesthetic. A protective coating is applied to reduce fingerprints. There are two ways to get the frosted effect for U profile glass: sandblasted and acid-etched. Low-E U profile glassLow-E, or low-emissivity, glass was created to minimize the amount of infrared and ultraviolet light that comes through your glass, without minimizing the amount of light that enters your home. Low-E glass windows have a microscopically thin coating that is transparent and reflects heat. The coating is even thinner than a human hair! The Low-E coatings keep the temperature in your home consistent by reflecting the interior temperatures inside.

We introduced Low-e coating technology into our U profile glass production line to provide a wider range of applications for U profile glass.
