Located by  Lake, surrounded by mountains and waters, this project achieves a dialogue between architecture and nature through the layered application of U profile glass. The second floor adopts sandblasted ultra-white wavy-patterned U profile glass, paired with a silver metal strip joint design. While ensuring the privacy of the office space, it utilizes the glass’s light-transmitting yet non-transparent property to diffuse the reflections of the lake and mountain scenery into the interior. Measured data shows that the sound insulation reaches 27 dB for single-row installation and can be increased to 38 dB for double-row installation, effectively blocking external noise. Its innovative steel-frame-free keel structure enables the U profile glass to have a flexural strength more than 10 times that of ordinary flat glass, allowing it to form independent walls without additional support.

The design creates a three-story-high glass box with a lightweight and simple form, offering excellent panoramic views. From the perspective of the urban space, the lower part of the building is shielded by trees, revealing only the “floating glass box”—this creates a visual interaction between the internal and external spaces, as well as between natural and man-made spaces.

The lake-facing side of the glass box forms a cantilevered space. The three glass boxes use different materials: the ground floor combines transparent glass, silver-gray aluminum panels, and metal frames to create an open entrance space for welcoming visitors. The second floor features sandblasted ultra-white U profile glass with white aluminum strips, while the third floor uses transparent glass paired with horizontal mirrored stainless steel cornices. These elements are staggered vertically, resulting in a concise, transparent architectural image with a strong sculptural sense.

U profile glass facade: Through the modular arrangement design of the U profile glass facade, a rhythmic facade shape is formed. The refined detailed design reflects high-quality craftsmanship.

Gradient texture control of colored glazed glass: Combined with the facade curtain wall and sightline analysis, the selection of the gradient texture of the colored glazed facade was repeatedly refined to ensure the optimal completed effect.
